The goal of this project was to establish ABB Robotics as a trusted partner for high-tech automation solutions in the German manufacturing sector. Through an integrated campaign combining digital initiatives, relevant content, and personal lead qualification, we not only strengthened ABB’s market presence, but also laid the foundation for a sustainable community and a robust sales pipeline.

Challenge

Engaging medium-sized manufacturing companies with complex robotics solutions requires precise targeting and perfect timing. Varying informational needs, long decision cycles, and the demand for one-on-one consultation made it essential to tightly integrate digital lead generation with structured sales support.

Solution

ALEX & GROSS designed a holistic lead generation and qualification campaign that combined digital reach with personal Inside Sales. Through a campaign website tailored to the target audience, cross-channel online advertising, and automated email journeys, potential clients were systematically engaged, informed, and guided through the customer journey.

Methodology

Our structured approach combined content strategy, performance marketing, and tele-based lead qualification. Key content was tailored to the audience’s needs and distributed across relevant channels. Automated email workflows and personal follow-ups by experienced Inside Sales Managers ensured efficient lead development through to Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) stage.

 

 

 

Results

The integrated approach resulted in a sustainable sales pipeline with high-quality contacts. The close alignment of marketing and sales led to above-average lead quality and a reliable sales database. The campaign exceeded SQL benchmarks and laid the groundwork for a long-term partnership with ABB Robotics that continues to grow.
