As part of a nationwide funding program for fiber-optic expansion, ALEX & GROSS supports Telekom in the operational execution of complex market exploration procedures (MEVs).

Challenge

Publicly funded infrastructure projects worth millions demand precision at every level. Before Telekom can apply for funding for fiber-optic rollouts, potential expansion areas must be validated, industry dialogues and market exploration procedures must be properly documented, and internal processes must be coordinated reliably – all under significant time pressure and strict legal requirements.

Solution

ALEX & GROSS provides full operational support across the entire process. We monitor over 30 public platforms for relevant tenders, document industry dialogues and MEVs, evaluate contract drafts, analyze address data across municipalities, and coordinate internal workflows – fast, structured, and compliant.

Methodology

Our cross-site team in Mannheim and Sofia manages all operational workflows efficiently and reliably. Each process step is jointly defined and standardized with Telekom in advance. New topics are learned via structured training and shared internally. Multiple coordination rounds per week – or daily when needed – ensure smooth handovers and high process reliability.

Results

Thanks to our structured and compliant operational support, Telekom was able to execute complex MEVs and coordination processes with speed and accuracy. Systematic documentation and coordination of MEVs and industry dialogues provided a strong foundation for decision-making and noticeably reduced the workload for internal teams. The project’s successful extension beyond its initial term reflects both the performance of the setup and the trust built through collaboration with ALEX & GROSS.
