Our project mandate was to promote fibre optic products for commercial customers in central Germany and push forward with digital customer acquisition. The particular challenges were that envia TEL had no significant digital presence until then. This was a major obstacle to the growth of the company for the customer. The sales area was also not clearly defined and changed constantly due to new expansion measures.

ALEX & GROSS was tasked with building a complete digital sales platform for envia TEL, clearly defining the target group and supporting customer acquisition using a digital marketing concept.



We developed a digital sales and marketing strategy for the customer and a web portal on this basis. An availability check function was programmed to enable potential customers to determine at any time whether their location can be connected to the envia TEL fibre optic network – an important measure for customer acquisition. The online ordering route was created so that customers can easily order and obtain information on their customer journey.

In addition, ALEX & GROSS used performance marketing to ensure that envia TEL can always keep an eye on customer performance. The development of a target group-relevant social media presence, including community management, has enabled the acceleration of lead generation.
